To foster an interest in the Mini in its various forms and derivatives.
The Victorian State Circuit Race Championships are conducted by Victorian State Race Series Inc. on behalf of Motorsport Australia. For 2026 it has been officially recognised as the VICTORIAN TROPHY TOUR by Motorsport Australia, and is the first and only state given permission to run under that title.
The Championships consist of race meetings organised by the following clubs:

Representatives from each of these clubs makes up the committee of the Victorian State Race Series Inc. who organise and run the Victorian State Circuit Racing Championships (Trophy Tour), with races held at Victorian race tracks Phillip Island, Winton, and Sandown International, and Calder Park.
The Trophy Tour (formerly known as the The Victorian State Circuit Racing Championships or the Victorian Motor Race Championships and the State Race Series) have been running continuously since 1975. Initially, the meetings consisted of one-day events with a practice/qualifying session in the morning and racing in the afternoon. The series has expanded to 2-day meetings with an optional practice on the Friday before the event.
This year, along with the new name, the Victorian Trophy Tour see many of the countries national categories joining in for the fun. With categories such as AU3, National Formula Ford, and the Australian Production Car Series amongst others nominating the Victorian Trophy Tour as a round of their national championships, we are being recognised for our ability to operate at a national level and that's all thanks to the volunteers that make it all work including yourself.

VICTORIAN STATE CIRCUIT RACING CHAMPIONSHIPS
The VMCi is responsible for providing officials - and heaps of them - for the fifth round of the Trophy Tour at Phillip Island each year. If you are a member, think about volunteering for this year's event. No experience is necessary; you will be given training and a suitable role. You will also have plenty of well seasoned officials there to help you learn the ropes and enjoy your weekend.
If you are planning to volunteer at Phillip Island, the first step is to register your interest. Please contact KJ via officials@mini.org.au and he will forward you some information and instructions on how to do so. He's also happy to chat to you if you're not sure.

It'll also mean that he can keep an eye out for your signup to make sure it has all worked and that you don't miss out.
Officiating at a race meeting is a good way to get close to some impressive race cars and see some good racing. There are a lot of different positions to be filled for a race meeting to function, such as Scrutineers, Flag Marshals, Timekeepers, Communicators and Paddock Marshals. If you've ever wondered what is going through the heads of the officials when you are watching car racing on TV, then this is the way to find out! Many roles require accreditation, depending on the level of responsibility of the job. Details of accreditation can be found at the Motorsport Australia website.
